1. Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the customer. INTERSPORT Arosa / Luzi’s Shop GmbH assumes no liability for accidents of any kind involving the rented equipment.
Cancellation/refund of reserved items is free of charge up to no later than 24 hours before the start of the rental period (8:00 a.m.), provided the cancellation option was selected. Refunds within 24 hours are only possible in the event of an accident (medical certificate required) or for family-related reasons.
1.1 Scope of Application and Contracting Parties
These reservation and rental terms and conditions (“GTC”) apply to all contracts for the reservation and rental of sports and leisure equipment concluded between INTERSPORT Schweiz AG, Wölflistrasse 2, 3006 Bern (“INTERSPORT”), its cooperation partners (“Retailers”) – in particular INTERSPORT AROSA / Luzi’s Shop GmbH – and the customer (“Customer”).
The rental contract is concluded exclusively between the booking customer and the respective INTERSPORT partner (shop) where the equipment is collected and returned. Any special agreements between the retailer and the customer shall take precedence over these GTC.
The version published on www.intersportrent.ch at the time the contract is concluded shall apply.
2. INTERSPORT Rent Platform
The INTERSPORT Rent platform is a browser-based reservation portal. The reservation itself is a free service. The paid rental contract is only concluded on site in the shop at the initiative of the customer. Neither the customer nor the retailer is obliged to conclude a rental contract on the basis of an online reservation.
3. Data Protection
Personal data is processed exclusively for handling inquiries and online reservations, in compliance with applicable national and European data protection regulations. The data is treated confidentially and is not sold, rented, or passed on to third parties.
4. Accuracy of Information
By completing the booking, the customer confirms the accuracy of their personal details, in particular those required for proper binding adjustment. Unauthorized changes are prohibited.
5. Minors
For bookings made for minors without the accompaniment of an adult, the legal guardian is liable. Parents are liable for their children.
6. Rental Period and Return (Winter Equipment)
The rental equipment may be collected on the evening before the first rental day from 4:00 p.m.
Return must take place no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day following the last rental day.
Returns after 10:00 a.m. will be charged as an additional rental day according to the tariffs of the respective shop.
7. Duty of Care and Liability
The renter is liable for the proper return of the rented items up to the amount of their retail value.
Passing on the equipment to third parties is prohibited. The equipment must be stored in such a way as to prevent theft or mix-ups.
The use of rented sports and leisure equipment (e.g. skis, snowboards, sleds) is at the renter’s own risk.
8. Theft and Insurance
The renter is liable for lost or stolen rental items. For a fee of 10% of the rental price, liability can be excluded before the start of the rental period (shop-dependent).
In the event of theft, a report must be filed with the competent police authority within 24 hours and the lessor must be informed immediately. A police report must be submitted.

Rental bindings are adjusted according to ISO standards.
Private bindings are tested on a calibrated binding testing machine.
If the customer waives a binding check, a liability waiver must be signed.
11. Items Purchased Online
Items purchased online during the booking process with on-site collection cannot be exchanged or refunded once the rental period has started.
12. Prices
All prices include 8.1% value-added tax (VAT).
13. Category Change
A category upgrade is possible at any time, subject to availability, for an additional charge.
A downgrade to a lower category does not entitle the customer to a price reduction.
14. Late Collection
In the event of late collection, the customer is obliged to inform the shop immediately. The equipment will be held for a maximum of 24 hours. After that, there is no entitlement to compensation.
15. Cancellation
An optional cancellation option can be booked for CHF 5.– per person.
This allows cancellation up to 12:00 noon on the day before the rental begins. The amount will be refunded minus the cancellation fee.
Without the cancellation option, the booking cannot be cancelled. Cancellation after the start of the rental period is excluded.
16. Children’s and Youth Prices
Children’s and youth prices up to 15 years apply only to children’s, youth, and budget skis.
For Economy and Premium categories, children and youths up to 17 years receive a 30% discount on the adult price.
17. Ski Depot (INTERSPORT AROSA)
Limited capacity, no reservations possible.
Rental equipment from INTERSPORT Arosa has priority.

18. Sleds / Runners
Sleds may be returned at night (lock and deposit key).
Securing the sled with the provided lock is mandatory.
Fees for non-return:
Deposit guarantee for groups: ID or CHF 200.– cash.

Claims for damages of any kind are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
20. Place of Jurisdiction
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 7050 Arosa (Switzerland).
